FAQ

Practicalities

Once your intake assessment is complete and you are deemed suitable for our program, treatment can typically begin within a few days, depending on bed availability. We will guide you through each step of the admission process and keep you informed about your start date.
We welcome feedback as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. You can speak directly to your case manager or contact our administrative office. Formal complaints can be submitted via our website or by emailing admin@ramot.co.za
The process begins with an intake appointment either in person or online where we assess your needs and determine the most suitable treatment path. This is followed by administrative paperwork and scheduling your start date. We’ll support you throughout the process.
No referral is required for private treatment. However, if you are seeking reimbursement from your insurer, a GP or specialist referral may be needed, depending on your policy.
Ramot is not a crisis centre. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call emergency services or go to your nearest hospital. You can contact Ramot once the situation is stabilized for further support.
